Survey files and calculation inputs

The tools read files that you choose through the browser file picker or paste into a page. Parsing, checks, calculations and report generation run locally. This application has no survey-file upload endpoint and does not send those file contents to a remote calculation service. Selecting a file does not make it available to other visitors or publish its coordinates.

Inputs and results remain in the current page's memory while you use it. Clearing or replacing input removes it from the active tool view; closing the tab ends that working session. This is not a promise of secure erasure from browser or operating-system memory. Keep your own backups where needed. Downloads are files on your device and are not removed when you clear a tool.

Saved settings and transfers between tools

Changing the appearance stores a light or dark preference under the browser storage key “theme”. Where a tool offers Save field preset or Save format settings, saving records settings such as column choices, separators and output options in localStorage. It does not store the point records or project reference. Presets remain until you delete them in the tool, clear the site's browser storage, or the browser removes them. Browser storage may be unavailable in some privacy modes; the tools still allow manual settings.

A Send to another tool action uses a same-origin BroadcastChannel with a random transfer identifier. The source tab offers the data for up to 90 seconds; the receiving tab waits up to 15 seconds. Point coordinates are not put in the destination address or localStorage. Keep the source tab open until receipt. Ordinary page links and language switches do not carry your file contents.

Page delivery and external sites

The server or hosting provider receives ordinary web requests needed to deliver this site, including the requested address and connection information such as IP address and browser headers. These requests are separate from locally processed survey files. This site is configured to use Plausible page analytics served by app.pageview.app and Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Both load only after you allow analytics. Advertising scripts are not enabled. Your browser may cache site assets.

Hosting request records may be used to deliver the service, troubleshoot errors and protect it from abuse. Their retention and processing location depend on the deployed hosting service and the operator's configuration; no fixed deletion period is promised here. Contact the operator shown above for details relevant to the deployed site. Linked manufacturer documentation and social-sharing destinations have their own policies after you choose to open them. They do not receive your survey file through those links.

Analytics, cookies and changing your choice

On the production site, you can allow or decline analytics. Until you choose to allow them, neither analytics script loads; the surveying tools remain usable. Your choice is stored under cogokit-analytics-choice-v1 in this browser for this site until you change it or clear site data. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page only. Local development and non-production preview addresses do not send analytics events.

When allowed, the Plausible script sends page-view events to app.pageview.app/api/event with the page URL, referring page and site domain. The script reviewed for this integration does not set analytics cookies. GA4 uses analytics cookies to measure page visits and usage information such as browser, device and traffic source. This site disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals, removes queries and fragments from the GA4 page-location field, and reduces its referrer field to the referring origin. Survey files, coordinate tables and typed support reports are not sent as custom analytics events by this application.

You can decline analytics again on this page. The site disables GA4, clears accessible _ga cookies for the current domain and sets the Plausible ignore flag. If analytics scripts have already loaded, this privacy page reloads to stop their listeners. Other open tool tabs receive the changed preference without a forced reload that could lose input. Withdrawal does not automatically delete information already received by analytics providers. Send a request to the contact address above about existing information. Analytics-account retention periods and processing options depend on the actual provider settings; no unverified fixed period is stated here.

Support reports and email

The contact page prepares a report in the current page. Saving a TXT report downloads it; opening an email draft passes your typed report to your email application. The website itself does not send that email or attach files. You decide whether to send it and what to include. Some tool feedback dialogs also add the page address, time, language and browser information to the draft; review and edit these details before sending.

If you send email, the operator and their mail provider receive your address, message and any attachments you choose. The purpose is to understand and respond to the issue. Avoid sending customer names, access credentials or confidential project files; a few synthetic records usually demonstrate a parser or calculation problem. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve and follow up on the issue, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements. Ask the operator about a particular message if you need a retention or deletion decision.

Your choices and this notice

You can use the tools without an account, decline analytics, decline to save presets, remove saved preferences using browser site-data controls, and refrain from sending email. To request access to, correction of or deletion of information you sent to the operator, use the contact details above and identify the message or request without adding unnecessary sensitive information. Applicable rights and obligations depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction.

The date above records the review of this description against the application's behavior. Changes to hosting, messaging, analytics or advertising need a corresponding review of this notice before those changes are enabled. This notice describes this website; it does not control your browser, your device backups or the separate services you choose to use.
